Your Sex Life: The Female Orgasm

Acheiving Female Orgasm

A common issue for many women is the inablity to acheive an orgasm through intercourse with a partner. For obvious reasons, this can prove very troubling for women. Statistics show that while alone, women can achieve climax through self stimulation in only 3 to 5 minutes.

What does this mean?

This shows us that many women are not getting the stimulation they need through intercourse to achieve climax. While many women are unable to achieve orgasm at all, this is a seperate issue.

Chaning positions can make it easier for a woman to get more stimulation through intercourse. With the female on top, it is easier to stimulate the woman's main source of pleasure, the organ known as the clitoris.

While intercourse provides a lot of stimulation for the g-spot, for many women it is impossible to achieve climax through this sort of stimulation alone. For couples, this can be a source of discontent. Many women are adamant to their partners that while sex feels good, they cannot achieve orgasm. Many men are baffled by this, and may not feel that they are able to please their significant other.

The most important things for couples to do are to maintain communication lines. Expressing your sexual needs, and providing direction to your partner can cause a world of a difference. Women however, must also understand that they must take responsibility for their own orgasm. It does not always come inherently to women, as it can be much easier for a man to achieve orgasm than a woman.

Women may find that they may need to touch themselves, and provide their own stimulation. In
this manner, they can share an orgasm with a partner through intercourse. Arousal gels and cremes are also available that many women say enhances their ability to feel stimulated, and heightens sensations. Many women at menopausal ages also have issues acheiving orgasm and may find that their changing hormones are interfering with their sexual routine.

Many women find it helpful to use personal massagers and certain aides to help them reach climax. This can be a great way to open up physical communication between partners. If this has not been a normal part of your play, then adding it to the mix may be a great way to bring new experiences into your relationship.

For many women, achieving orgasm is not something that comes easily. It is important to stay patient, and also be very relaxed. If your partner cares about you, they will be willing to work with you to provide as much pleasure and care as they can for you. However, the female does share responsibility for her own orgasm. Mental barriers can play a large role in why orgasm does not come easily. Practicing, staying relaxed, and concentrating on sensations during sexual intercourse may be useful techniques in reaching climax for women.

Embarassment?

Do not waste your time feeling embarassed or ashamed about these issues as they are very common.
Many people may feel a natural embarassment about using aides, cremes or supplements to enhance their sexual relationships. Many people feel that your body should work perfectly without added extras. Lets face it, this is not true for many people.

Repurposing Old Furniture

I live in the midwest, and though out my journeys I often find abandoned stuff, everywhere. I snapped the above picture near the railroad tracks. Someone could have donated that chair before it sat out in the elements, or even sold it for like 5 bucks.

We saw this on the road, and literally pulled the car over just to take a photo of it.

My major goal for writing online is to show people other ways to live, rather than throwing out uneeded items into the garbage. All of that trash ends up going into a landfill, and it's senseless when so much of it can be passed on to others who could use it.

An easy way to get your used furniture back into good hands is to simply take it down to your local thrift store. Try visiting the The Thrift Shopper and type in your zip code for a listing of thrift stores in your area.

Dont forget that craigslist and bookoo.com also are viable means to sell or donate your items. Both of these sites also contain a much needed "free" section, where people post items that you can come pick up, with no cost at all. This is also called "freecycling," and I am preparing more blogs to get you educated about the movement.

Even though it is easy to throw your old furniture out to the curb, consider doing what I talked about in my last blog. Give that old wooden peice a new face with some spray paint. A little goes a long way. For a couple more bucks, you can visit your local hardware and get some paint that you apply with a brush. I use high gloss, waterborne acrylic enamel.

Reclaiming Old Picture Frames

I do a lot of projects around the house, including painting. It is a sure fire way to save a peice of furniture, and can add a new face to many different objects.
Right now I have been buying frames for 49 cents at a local thrift store.

Here is an example of the frame at the corner, with the original pink paint visible.

Once I am done doing this with spray paint, no one will be able to tell the difference between mine and a new one. My living room has been instanty redecorated, for hardly any cash at all. I don't have alot of money, and the way it looked was driving me nuts. I began to think up ways I could change my environment and not spend money.

This is a very cost saving thing to do, and falls in line with the values of living a greener lifestyle and repurposing objects rather than trash them.
